Peace Valley Park consists of 1500 acres.
The barn pictured above is at the Peace Valley Nature Center. To get to the Nature Center, you want to be on the north side of the lake. Take Chapman road south to the center. The bridge over Lake Galena/Chapman road is not available to motor vehicles.
The Nature center itself has over 14 miles of trails with blinds for birdwatching. If you go, you might want to stop at the center first to pick up a trail map. That is also the place where you can find restrooms off season.
Peace Valley Park has boat launching facilities as well as bicycling and walking trails.
