This was shot after heavy rains following a summer long drought. Someone probably moved the bench closer to the water when the lake was at a low level. Of course, situating the table like this does eliminate pesky ants.
A lone picnic bench on Lake Galena that is located in a slightly drier, but somewhat more tilted location. Don’t let this worry you. There are plenty of tables on level surfaces on solid, level ground.
