The Virginia Forrest Recreation area is a small recreation area on the Delaware Canal. There are about 20 parking spaces, a small picnic area and restrooms. It’s located just north of Center Bridge on River Road which is about 2 miles south of Lumberville on Route 32. There are paths along the canal for hiking, walking, or bicycling. There isn’t a boat ramp, but you can launch canoes and such.
Check the Pa State Parks page to make sure the trails are open before setting out.
