There is a big potential with fraud. I’m from Levittown, but where I live now in California, there’s an initiative on the ballot to insure that the Indian casinos pay their fair share of income taxes. Currently, they are not required to pay ANY tax because Indian lands are tax-exempt. That’s where the fraud lies. Anyone can claim that they are part of a tribe, and that a particular plot of property is their tribal land. On the plus side, the casinos bring jobs to the community. | | | | | | | | You cannot post new topics in this forum You cannot reply to topics in this forum You cannot edit your posts in this forum You cannot delete your posts in this forum You cannot vote in polls in this forum | | | |
