Bensalem | Town Tours

Bensalem is a large, heavily populated township in the lower end of Bucks County.  It has it’s own rich history with historic buildings such as the Pen Ryn Mansion, the King Library,  and the  Eddington Presbyterian Church

There is plenty of recreation available with excellent facilities such as the Neshaminy State Park which is also home to the Playmasters theater. 

Residents of Bensalem have easy access to Philadelphia via I-95 or the Septa R-7 line. there is even an Amtrak station at Cornwells Heights.

Bensalem is home to Philadelphia Park, which, in turn, is home to Smarty Jones.

The Commerce Bank Amphitheater

The Bensalem Municipal Complex is home to the Commerce Bank Amphitheater. The Municipal Complex is located at 2400 Byberry Road.  The Amphitheater is an outdoor facility that hosts a wide range of events.

Their 2005 Summer Nights Concert Series hosts concerts by the Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra, The Philadelphia Boys Choir, The Fabulous Greaseband, The U.S. Army Field Band and Soldier’s Chorus and Herman’s Hermits. In addition they have Jimmy Buffet tributes and fireworks.
