Delaware Canal | Destinations

A view looking north, of the Delaware Canal at New Hope. New Hope is right on the Delaware River. The town is an eclectic “artist’s colony.” There are a number of fine restaurants and other dining establishments, bars, pubs, bed and breakfasts and antique stores.  It is a romantic, eclectic and interesting town.

At the south end of the town, you can find Canal Boat rides in season. The canal boats are towed by a mule and offer a unique perspective of the town and a unique glimpse into our past.

Parking can be a little tight during the busy times. In addition, the New Hope-Ivyland Railroad terminates at New Hope Station.

If you are looking for prime real estate, New Hope and Solebury offer a variety of upscale estates and homes.
