New Hope Railroad Engine 7210 – BucksViews – Rails and Trains

An old diesel engine, 7210,  on a siding on the New Hope Railroad line. 

August 2019.  My girlfriend thinks I’m a little nuts. Whenever I see trains, I have to start taking pictures.  This particular engine was sitting on a siding of the New Hope Railroad.

Federal law mandates that the “front” of an engine must be marked with an “F”. (reference). You can see the “F” in the photo above.

Out of Service. Originally built as CN GP9 4312, rebuilt as GP9rm in 1989, retired by CN in 2011, built 1959 by GMD. Wears patched CN livery. Currently in storage on the New Hope Branch.
