Kyle’s Review

The Buck Hotel has been a long-term fixture in Lower Bucks County.  The original building was found to be unstable a few years back and unfortunately had to be demolished.  The owners rebuilt in the same.  style and expanded the facilities somewhat.

The Buck offers casual dining, a bistro, a tavern, banquet in conference facilities, and seasonal patio dining.  The decor is warm and inviting and the tables are adequately spaced.

Keep in mind that they offer early bird specials during the week.  They have a children’s menu available and the place is kid friendly.  Dinner selections include steak, pasta, poultry and seafood.

They currently offer live entertainment Wednesday through Saturday.   While you’re there check out their market which offers a variety of dishes for takeout.

Kiki’s Review

The Buck Hotel by Ruhlings was established in 1735 .It served as a relay point for travelers journeying from Philadelphia to Trenton and New York during Colonial times.

The first floor dining room is to the left of the bar area. The room is very cozy with two stone fireplaces ablaze and deer racks along the walls.

For lunch I had fresh cooked mushrooms topped with crab meat – extremely fresh. My side dishes were french-fried eggplant and creamy Cole slaw and egg knot rolls. All were very good. For dessert I had tiramisu which was served with glazed fresh strawberries and whip cream on the side. Great Place for a family get together.
