Shady Brook Farm hosts entertainers in the Greenhouse which is adjacent to their Stone’s Throw bar. It is a unique and interesting venue.

We visited Shady Brook Farm on two of the past Friday evenings. In both cases, they had live music on the stage. You can purchase drinks at the Stone’s Throw bar or you can purchase ice cream and sodas. One of our favorites is their Lavender ice cream. There is plenty of seating at picnic tables or, if you are lucky, Adirondack chairs. There are a few corn hole games set up as well. The market was open when we arrived. If you are looking for a relaxing place to go with a friend or friends check this is a winner.

Why we went – Monique and RJ
Monique and RJ, an acoustic duo were playing at Shadybrook Farm. We hadn’t been there for a while and went to catch their show.
The Greenhouse
We hadn’t been to Shady Brook for a while and had never gone to see a band. We weren’t sure what to expect.
Shady Brook was decorated for Christmas and their incredible Christmas Light Show was still on. There was plenty of parking. You enter through the Farm Market which has a great selection of fresh produce, dairy and other goodies. Their Stone’s Throw bar is a cozy bar between the Farm Market and Greenhouse.
The greenhouse has a stage at one end and rows of picnic tables.
Wine, Beer, Food, Cheese, Ice Cream, Coffee.
They were serving beer and wine in the greenhouse or you could get something from the Stone’s Throw. If you want something non alcoholic, the Farm Market had fresh coffee as well as bottled drinks.
You could grab nachos or a Panini from the bar or a sandwich from the deli. The line for the Ice Cream stand (in the middle of winter) was about 5 deep all night.

The Farm Market has a wonderful selection. You can have a drink, listen to great music and do some food shopping. They offer fresh produce, diary, lunch meats and more.

Fire Pits – Enjoy a fire and the outdoors.
Shadybrook has over a half dozen firepits outside. It is a perfect place to gather with friends, toast S’mores and enjoy a roaring fire.
