Beautiful. The appetizer portions of pasta can feed two. Desserts wonderful. Good wine selection, good size drinks, personal service. Route 611N. at the traffic light Springtown Inn—on its way to closure, but a very traditional dinner in a country inn. Ottsville Inn Fresh seafood, good atmosphere. recreated from a former life Cascase Lodge–overpriced..but do it once. Terry’s North on 611 toward Easton, technically not Bucks. As soon as 611 recovers from the flood. Extraordinary Italian restaraunt. Homemade Pasta, intimate, chianti bottles on table. Don’t miss the profiterolles. | | | | | | Buckwampum Joined: 10 Dec 2004Posts: 1 | | Posted: Fri Dec 10, 2004 7:45 pm Post subject: Dining North of Doylestown | | | | I’m so glad to have a discerning site on this topic! Many area reviewers seem not so picky and seem to love everything. Here are our foodie views: -Karleton Cafe in downtown Quakertown – a cafe not a restaurant, excellent food, very consistent for lunch or a casual dinner -Campagna in Haycock just north of Lake Nockamixon – Superb, must try. This is an Italian mama in the kitchen of a former Dairy Queen type restaurant now upgraded. The pizzas are not our favorite, but the pastas and main courses are superb. BYO wine. -Cascade Lodge – had one of the worst meals ever there, ugh, with terrible service to boot Has anyone tried Villa Richard in Riegelsville or anything in Hellertown? | | | | | | | | You cannot post new topics in this forum You cannot reply to topics in this forum You cannot edit your posts in this forum You cannot delete your posts in this forum You cannot vote in polls in this forum | | | |
