Morrisville is directly across the Delaware River from Trenton New Jersey. If you are traveling north on Route 1, you will pass through Morrisville as you leave Pennsylvania. The Delaware Canal also passes through Morrisville.
Attractions include Summerseat, the home of two signers of the Declaration of Independence.
Summerseat Historical Home
If you are driving towards the “Trenton Makes” bridge your will see a millstone on display on the corner of North Delmorr and East Bridge street. The Millstone dates from 1773 from a mill that was owned at one time by two signers of the Declaration of Independence. The stone is at the corner of Williamson park.
