New Hope Pennsylvania is on the Delaware River in Bucks County. It’s a quaint town with numerous shops, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, pubs, bars, antique shops and a hotel or two. During the summer season, you can take a ride on a canal boat in the old Delaware Canal or take a ride in a horse drawn carriage.
The New Hope – Ivyland Railroad runs from New Hope to Ivyland. (Of course it does, that’s why they gave it that name. ☺) The town also is home to a variety of unique homes, many of which are of the Victorian Gingerbread style. You can also walk or drive across the bridge to Lambertville, New Jersey.

| Parking can be a little difficult on busy days such as weekend in the summer. You either need to find a metered spot or use one of the parking lots. The town does have an artsy appeal which makes for an interesting variety of people on the streets. |
